An Anxious Call for Anointed Prayer – AMC 2006!

Today, religious movements appear to be constantly striving to think up new methods, new plans, and new programs to move forward in order to achieve effectiveness of the work of the kingdom. This prevailing trend has a tendency to lose sight of the man or submerge the man in the folds of an organization or amidst the stratagem of plans. It has always been in God’s plan, however, to place much emphasis on the man. Men truly are “God’s method.”

The church world is looking for better methods; God is looking for better men. “There was a man sent from God whose name was John.” The men who planted and watered the gospel seed in the earth were men who were used by God as His method to proclaim the gospel. “How shall they hear without a preacher?” Thus, God declares the necessity of men and His need of them as a channel through which to manifest His gospel power to the world. This vital truth is one that this age of multi-layered-programs is very apt to forget.

What the Church needs today is not more machinery, not new organizations or more novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use—men of prayer, men who  not only preach with anointing but also pray with the anointing. The Holy Ghost does not move through methods, but through men. The anointing does not come on machinery, but on men. The Holy Ghost does not breathe on plans, but on men—men of faith and prayer. *

Knowing therefore this principle, of men and prayer, it has become an earnest desire of the 2006 AMC to see this divine principle utilized to its fullest during the April conference. Able men of God have been selected to preach in the selected slots for this conference, and none would doubt their ability to hear from God. However, we understand, the move of God that is desired among us must have an audience of conditioned hearts—conditioned by prayer. It is firmly our belief that the world has yet to witness the full power of men of prayer as they are moved by the preached Word of power! For far too long far too many have left the preacher to sow seeds among the trodden paths and only a small amount of the sown seed finding good earth—what would happen if the seed sown found more good soil than fallow ground? The awesome result, we know, would be exponential! Hell fears a gospel sower sowing in well prepared soil!

Come join with other hungry men of God this April as we meet at least 30 minutes prior to the services and prepare miracle ground for miracle seed! We intend to place as much importance on prayer as we do on the preaching—they must operate hand in hand! AMC 2006 can be one of the most rewarding events of our lives if we join hands, faith and PRAYER for the will of God in our generation! Will you join us? An anxious call for anointed prayer is being made—do you hear it?
